The purpose of this tour is to shine light on the immediate physical aftermaths caused by the Great Atlanta Fire in the Fourth Ward and how the moral incompetency of legislators led to its drastic change in the built environment over time. Site stops along the way elaborate on the photographed evidences of varied fire locations recorded at the time of the fire, and evidences of localized areas after its destruction, allowing visitors an in-time comparison between the past and present built-environments of each location.
